    I'm not 100% certain but looking for the "molded tank line" on the right side I can't see the tank line leading to the shroud. Also LC Rotaxs' were not noted for over heating or runnig hot probs. No need for 2 rads?

    I really don't think you'll be shedding much light on tigers to many people here. There have been many posts over the years about them. There are a few expert Tiger owning members here already, with good attitudes and people skills. You've got a very nice machine. Sickest, rarest, baddest, best, blah, blah, blah....I don't think so.

    I've seen Tigers. 200s and 500s. It's all a personal thing. I didn't much care for them. Especially the usefulness of them aside from collectability. Who would ever ride something like yours the way it was meant to be ridden? Try finding the parts that are as "perfect" as what are on yours. Heck, belly button 350X fenders go for 7 bills these days if they're new. You ride that thing hard and bust something...you'll be labeled the biggest fool to ever own a Tiger. To have such a nice machine and damage it would be irresponsible to say the least.

    So, by saying that, to me...it has little value. Not much more than a ship in a bottle. Something to show off. I'm not a showy kind of person. Is it rare, sure. Is it an 86, who cares. They were made to order. In addition it's only a 250 and one at that. If you were sitting on a family of perfect Tigers that included an 80, 125, 200, 250, and 500 along with a Tiger 4, then maybe you could toot your horn as much as you've been. Until that time, enjoy what you have and shut your pie hole. Oh, before I forget.... for pete's sake change your signature. It's only a trike.

    At least he's good in math --> .5 * 500 = 250

    Can I assume ytou are from Newport NY then? Now where exactly is that? I am South of Rochester and have had a number of members up to ride, gone to a number of members TO ride, and also have been a faithful member of the "Trikefest Express". I say forget about this silly "rare" debate and shuddup and RIDE!!

    My .o2 cents.

    I just don't see the point of owning one of these machines and not riding it. Sure parts are hard to find I understand that. But so are tecate parts. Especially the 86-87. I bet there will be more tigers at TF this year than the late model tecate. Judging from last years group pic of course. Everyone was running their tecate down the drag strip in the mud... So why not. I know if I owned one I would ride it... Not on it but it wouldn't sit "under glass" in my garage.... What's the point??? (NOTHING AGAINST YOU ORANGECO!!!) ?

    Seems like they are showig up alot these days... (the tiger) Especially here in Pa. (and surrounding areas) Probably more tigers than tecates in this wonderful state.
