You might have trouble finding a motor for it for cheap.
I think that seems a little steep. I just bought a complete 85 250es today that should run if I put the carb back on for $200 canadian. I would say, lowball him and if he doesnt accept, keep looking.
ok thanks.
Yah, I'd say save up and buy a runner. A good motor for a decent price for that bad boy is not gonna come easy. By the time you're done sinking money into it, you could probably have bought yourself a nice runner.

Anybody have parts to trade for the above models?
Yep, I am VERY happy with Ebay lately. I just wished I had another axle or 2 to sell. lolOriginally Posted by jeswinehart
I do have a good running 250sx motor. I'm not pushing to sell it, but I will sell it semi-reasonably priced. Shipping to Canada would be the costly part.
Howdy
I would offer $200.00 and if I couldn't find a motor around I would do exactly like Howdy did and part it out. Geez a good set of used rubber will sell for half that. Also if would depend if the plastic was good. Honda workhorses with good plastic are fetching a good dollar nowadays. I wish that I stumbled on that deal that yamahauler got!!!
If you parted it out on ebay you would probly get over $300 for the rear end. By the way jbezan, we picked it up in McCreary, MB 40 miles north of Neepawa.
great catch
