I just bought this carb for my Z.

I just bought this and then thought I would ask if it would work. It's a flat side 34mm so I figured it would be ok . I'm not looking forward to having to re-jet it but oh well. I've read where some people are using stock 250r carbs and are seeing some good results, but I didn't want to go to big. I don't have anything but a bolt on filter and a dg pipe/silencer. My stock carb is leaking gas and the inside is marked up pretty bad so I wanted to replace it.

What do you guys think? Will it work?

the 34 should work good for you your stock one is a 32 mm. the stock honda 250 carb is only a 35 mm so it should work okay also.

well i think the only problem would be,finding a cable to fit it properly.i would think,a atc 250r 85-86 cable would fit your stock thumb throttle.but i am only guessing on that.
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...
