I dont know ask range rover they were his?
can blame the seller he started the auction at 1 cent. it is the bidders who bid the items up. i say good for him.
lol I watched this rear mudflaps and plastic trim pieces for the 250es go for $202.00 last week and this week was like $90 I went to $88 and said F that.....lol
I swear, people will bid up everything that is "rare" or "discontinued" lol. The thing I don't understand is why some will bid up an item to a high dollar $ on the very first day of a 7 or 10 day auction?? -No disrespect towards any board members. I personally don't bid early on most items until towards the end of the auction. This one ought to be interesting: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

The problem I have with E-Bay is that’s not an actual representation of “worth”. Guys get into bidding wars and drive the price up of a said auction when the same thing can often be found locally for half or less. Take Ed Webb’s auctions for example. A “run of the mill” ’73 Speedway 440 snowmobile in good condition goes for over $3K just because some big time collector named Ed Webb has it?? Nope...I could find the same sled, same condition for $800 or less all day long. $4K '86-'87 Tectate 3's ?? Nope. $5K 350X's..Nope. $3K 250R's ?? Nope. just because somebody pays a million $$$ for an Edsel doesn't mean all Edsels are "worth" that. Fair market value I say.

You know I've been thinking about this for some time. I look at it this way. There is somwhere around 300 million people in this country (excluding the illegals). Logic tells me there must have been a couple of people back in the day who bought atc's and parts. Why do you see so much stuff still for sale. Wouldn't you think that there is tons of atc stuff still out there? So many mint bikes and parts keep showing up. Makes sense to me. Looks like impulse buying . IMO
3 CR500R's and counting. Do I really need 4???
Do I really need 9 Tigers?
Laegers ATC500R
DO NOT send any thing to whats his face (dirt-face/crasher) here on the board. What a scum bag. He screwed (stole) money from me and screwed me on my ME360 and Hondaline 300R engine rebuilds.
Still Nice ATC stuff out there.... not tons by any means. Believe me I have spent 2 years turning stones. Well at least 1 1/2 years very committed.

I guess they will bid up the price to more or less say that they are willing to pay a certain amount for the item...yeah it does suck when those 0 feedbackers start tossing in their bids..never know if they are planning on paying or not.

I bought both shrouds and both decals for like $35 a shroud and $15 per decal if I remember right. It was about a year ago from Service Honda, but parts can be discontinued at any time now a days.

Unfortunely many parts go discontinued on a monthly basis...Honda people have had it good for a long time...The other manufacturers bailed long ago.Originally Posted by Jeb
