Steel Braided Brake Lines.. Lead me in the right direction!

I'm looking to get a steel braided brake line for the front of the 350X.. the plastic ones just don't go with the look of the polished forks, aluminum rim, and polished tripples. I looked on eBay for some, and I did a search on the forums but nothing really helped. I'm not quite sure what exactly I want to look for and what length and everything else. Can anyone lead me in the right direction?
And also.. I have $40 left in my PayPal account to purchase things from eBay or wherever, so that is my limit

Thank you! I think that is just what I'm looking for, and I'm almost certain it will fit. Even if it doesn't, its not a big deal. I'll just put it on my 250R if it doesn't fit the X.. lol. Then get another one for the X. I'm going to eventually get one for the R anyway..

The name brand of the braided brake hoses is "russell". I hope the spelling is correct. See if your local dirtbike accessory dealer has russell brake hoses or can get them. I don't have the hose numbers in front of me, I'm at work now. One of the brake lines had a clear covering, front I believe and the rear had no clear covering. You can get clear shrinkwrap tubing and cover the line if you would want to. Hopefully both yours will come with the clear covering as the braided brake lines can be kind of abrasive

I saw another post that said Russell sold them, and after looking them up online I don't think they sell them anymore. I go to their main page, and it says to go to the "Flanders Search Engine" to find the hoses I need, and then after I go there it says there are no matches for an '85 350X..

When I get home after midnight I will look up the numbers for the hoses and post them. Did you look on ebay?, that's where I got mine.

Forget buying a premade line and run out to a local machine shop or that sort of company and have one made going by your old line. Shouldn't run more then 20 dollars. I know a friend of mine had one made for his sled for around 13 bucks.

I used a company in CA. Made custom brake lines for my truck. Only problem is he needed my originals. Maybe if you send some specs they can make em up that way? Reasonably priced. PM if interested
    3 CR500R's and counting. Do I really need 4???
Do I really need 9 Tigers?
    Laegers ATC500R
DO NOT send any thing to whats his face (dirt-face/crasher) here on the board. What a scum bag. He screwed (stole) money from me and screwed me on my ME360 and Hondaline 300R engine rebuilds.
