I picked up a 85 250R today

Well thanks to a buddy of mine at a the local honda shop I was given a call by the owner of this 250r who just bought a trx450 quad and needed some cash for the trx purchase.This is the cleanest 85 I have ever seen in person.I was not sure if the black plastics would look good but the black meier plastic looks better than the red. Has 2 new holeshots on the rear and a new oem dunlop on the front.FMF pipe and silencer,v-force reeds,billet cool head which we all know ads 30 horse.I wont tell what I paid like in the past but even if I did you guys wouldn't believe it anyways. The guy made some custom radiator guards which look great and even gave me a bunch of extras. What do you guys think??

I am thinking about going back to the red plastics unless I can find a good deal on a black tank. I hate the black meier shrouds though. They dont even look close to the honda ones

Looks good EXCEPT for the blue sidecases.....kinda ghetto. JMO. Glad you got a deal.

If I can find a black tank I will polish the side cases because I am not crazy about the blue either. I need a new rear shock also.

Sweet ride. Id prolly pay $900 for it. $1000 if the guy could make up his mind which set of colors he wanted to go with instead of creating a rainbow lol
