I am 250 and press 230. Me and my cousin work out together at his house. That is all the weight he has, but I struggle to put that up.

You know for all you super big bench lifters, I must ask, what is your 40yrd time and are you all in realy good shape or just arm strength? I know a lot of "Fat" people that can bench a lot. But what use is that if you can't run fast?

Nothing wrong with staying in shape.. nothing wrong with working out. But just trying to get big numbers is pretty lame. If you're thighs and calve muscles are not up to par you are just a top heavy bowling pin that can lift heavy stuff when on your back. Work muscles = real muscles.

And in these two situations see how the two are different.

    Situation 1

Considerably Hot Chick: Wow... Your muscles are really big.. Do you work out?
You: (totally honestly) Yes... I spend several hours a day at the gym for the sole purpose of impressing people like you. I drive a toyota with power steering and I work at an office answering telephone calls.

Situation 2 (you work at a farm shoveling horse manure and pushing wheel barrows full of cattle kidney stones uphill.)

Considerably Hot Chick: Wow... Your muscles are really big.. Do you work out?
    You: (totally honestly) No.
    The below sentence is TRUE.
    The above sentence is FALSE

Lifting muscles are great and all, but its no comparison to the real ones.

amen to that, Id have to say that working on a concrete crew has got be one of the more physically demanding jobs there are out there. But the best job i have had becasue of it. Makes you feel alive every day!! for 12hrs a wack in summer heat!!

I agree with working muscles....and dont make fun of horse crap movers...i am one of them I also agree with you billy. But with all those muscles for moving potatoes, once you finaly move the potatoes, the guy has scored a tochdown, and the potatoe thrower is on the bench
