no spark, spring is coming, my 350x needs help.

Here is the lowdown. My 350x was parked last fall. We had a bit of a warm streak this week, so I thought I might fire up the big dog. Low and behold, NO SPARK. Is there a series of tests I can conduct to figure out the problem? I put in a new used coil, and plug. Still, no spark. My right leg is now twice as big as my left. Help please, or that big 4 stroke will have me looking like a lopsided freak. If you think you have it bad check this out:
1-1979 atc 90, 1-1980 atc110, 2-1983 blue atc 110's, 1-1983 atc70, 1-1986 atc 200s, 1-1984 atc 200x mint, 1-1985 atc 200x, 1-1986 atc200x xxxtra-mint, 1-1987 atc 200x, 1-1984 atc 250r, 1-1985 atc-350x, 1-trx-250x, 2-fl250's with snowmobile engines 340cc air & 530cc liquid. The oddy's are on ebay now. I have sold of a few trikes, and have some parts bikes also. The trikes I have listed above are all in nice or better condition, however spark seems to be a recurring issue with numerous bikes from time to time. I am NO-mechanic. I am tired of forking out big dough for the honda tech.
