    another carb question-350x

thanks for the prior help with the jet. i now have another problem though. when i was taking the main jet out, a small brass bushing fell out from behind the main jet and on to the counter, and i have no idea which way it was in the carb.. it is the first bushing the needle runs through. i believe it is in the "needle set jet" on the following link: http://www.powersportspro.com/Partsf...splayfiche.asp anyway i can describe this bushing as having a thin walled end, and a thicker walled end. when i place the bushing on the carburetor needle, thin end first, the bushing seats itself in the carburetor body and is visable from venturi. is this right?

i am having trouble with this carburetor. it is idling extreamly fast and i just wanted to make sure this is right before i adjust the idle screw.

    help

    thanks

    mike

no threads. the brass piece the jets screw on top of

its the small brass piece the needle slides through. the jets screw in on top of it if you are holding the carb in your hand bottom up.

Checked the Partsfiche and it looks to be skinny side goes in first like you described.
