    new clutch for 200x

Could you guys tell me how hard it is to put in a new clutch for an 85 200x? I can do alot of stuff but havent done alot of engine work! Is any special tools needed? Is it basically just looking at how the old one is put together or do you think this is something that would be to hard for somebody who hasn't done alot of motor work? Also how long does it usally take? Thanx

Do you have a manual? I'd advise you to pick one up because it takes the guesswork out of jobs like this.

Changing the clutch is rather easy. I've done it on my Tecate and my old CBR600. Both no more then an hours work.

I'll get you the partsfiche for your 85 200X, the clutch diagram anyway.

Here you are, hope this gets you a little further ahead. Your going to need the gasket and clutch plates/friction discs. Let the fiber plates soak in gear oil for 3 hours before you install them.
