    200x 6 speed help

    hi everone, I`m new here but I`m looking for a little technical help with putting a 6 speed tranny in an 83 200x. Will it work or not? I heard that it`s possible..anyone done it? Also should I use the cases from an xr or stay with the x cases? thanks!

    WELL ,,the way i see it ,,, i don't think its worth all the hassle for another gear, it won't make you any faster,, cause i don't think the final ratio is much higher,, you just get closer together gears ,, i rode a 200x for years and never thought it needed a closer ratio transmission,,, you can do a search on the fourms cause i know there are a couple of them on the board,,,
