Woo hoo Just Bought an 06 Suzuki King Quad

Yes sir, Ive been wanting a new Quad since I had to sell my last Quad, which was 1 year old, when I got hurt 9 years ago. I havnt been able to really ride since. I got the Trikes but This Baby is for using up to Camp In the Adirondaks on all those nice trails. Big Brother is around a little so I should be fine now. And they dont let Trikes on the Trail Pass Trail system. All in all I hear there are over 500 miles of trails up there and a King Quad will get me anywhere.
Going up on Friday to look at a few Pieces of land for my Camp

Congrats, they are alot of fun. You will have to give us a ride review once you get some good seat time on it. I haven't road the "06" yet but I know the earlier ones had more then enough power to get a person in and outta trouble

Hey meat. a little off topic here but where do you ride and camp in the adoirondacks? This is something I would be most intrested in. The only thing that has me wondering though is out of state vehicles and restrations... stuff like that. That would indeed be a trip of a lifetime for me.

    Riding

There is a nice Trail system called Trail Pass up on the Tugg Hill Platue and around the Adirondaks. Allso you can ride alot of roads and stuff like that. Its pretty much the ATV/Snowmobile Mecca of the State. Im looking for Property in Croghan NY in Lewis County. Lewis County just got allmost 4 million for Trail and related stuff from the Gov. Most in the State. Im going up on Friday to check out some pieces of land.
I hope to get this 4.5 acre piece with a Creek going through it Fri. Borders State land and has alot of lakes and streams close by. Best of all its on the Trail System

Check out Trail Pass. I just saw ATV Telivision show on the Adirondaks last month. Its beautifull up there.

I see PA has a Huge ATV park a straight shot down for me.

    off topic again..

Yes. Its straight up (or down) interstate 81. maybe 3 hours tops I would guesstimate. I'll make you a deal... next time you guys do that 100 mile loop thing up there invite me! lol In return I will be more than glad to show you what my area has to offer. I'm sure it's much diffrent than up there. mostly coal and silt pits.

I was also looking into land up in the tughill area. There are advertisments for a relator in the back of the pa fishing lisence guide with land for sale... CHEAP!!! I think the company was called christmas and sons reality co. or something like that. That area is absolutly one of the prettiest places I was ever at. escpecially in the fall. I would mst definitly be intrested in finding a place to ride up there for a day or two.

    check it out

    http://www.landandcamps.com/

    Thats them====Christmasandassociats.com those two names.
There is a Spot in Grieg that is right on a big trail system. State land accross the street. Trail +8 check that out. Allso those 5 Acre spots near where im looking on Fri. I will be looking at them. I will get Pics and give info. There is alot of killer sand up there, lots of minni Dunes. Oh and mile long sections of Whoops Its a good investment.

Oh yea Im real confident that the King Quad will handle anything I come accross and Im excited. I got a Forest Green one. For Stealth in the summer and Hunting Season

If you want to come up I'll take anyone on the Ride Some of us here did awhile ago. No cops and problems there. It cool and you can put in 100 miles in a day with lots of killer 5-10 acre sand dunes with deep berms to Blast out of all styling. Good Photo Op. mad Style Points for Pic of the Month. You will need to beat my Style/Roost pic though

As for the Quad, its been the best for the last 3 years. And Suzuki is on fire. They arent messing around. That new QuadRacer 450 is SICK I allmost Bought that. But I would get hurt.

The King quad is a nice machine, The ONLY problems i have seen with them is in 05 the Rev limit for reverse was too high causin them to throw out the Rev gear.....Fixed for 06 tho with a new CDI.....i would also Sodder and heat shrink all the Winch Conections on it....to keep them from falling apart/corroding when you least expect it!! Get some Mudlights on that sucker too the stock tires are pretty much useless...lol

I read something on atvconnection that the stock airfilters are garbage. They allow dirt into the engine and a lot of people were POED. They had to rebuild after like 1,000 miles I think it was. Not sure if they corrected this on the 2006 model? BTW, those kingquads are sweet

My new 4x4 in my New 4x4

Here she is in my new Truck. The fixed the rev limiter to 30 seconds because fools were doing reverse wheelies

O yea, she goes over 70mph, its just sick
