Well this is my find for the day! Its a automatic kill switch! from the direction i belive its for when your trike gets tipped upside down or on its side it will then shut off the bike?I have no clue how exactly it works? In the instructions it states that in an example for wiring it, it uses the 83-85 200x and the 81-84r. It says on the package that it will fit any single cylinder engine!

It is probably a small mercury filled tube and if it get oriented in the wrong direction it opens an electric circuit and kills the engine.
