Anybody out there have any good race stories?

One day my friend came over on his older TRX300 we were justout in my back 5 acres tooling around and having fun, and we decided to have a race, so I said OK. We lined up, and my little 83 YTM200 beat the tar out of him, all the way through! I was surprised because I figured his extra 100 cc's would be able to lug all that extra weight around, plus give him better accelaration than me..guess not. He was mad that an old beat up YTM200 blasted him away, and he went home after that...didn't even say goodbye!

I went out wit ha couple of my buddies one day last fall and they were riding a 250 polaris, and a warrior. The warrior had a .040 overbore, pipe, clutch, race cam, springs and all this bullshit. What a dog it was. Slower than my tired 350X all the way through. He couldn't keep up with me on anything, pavement, slush, dirt. This was a 350X with no brakes at all, tired engine, pipe and air filter running wayyy to rich.

That's truly sad that Warrior with all that fancy BS couldn't keep up with you. Bet he felt stupid, eh? I know I would have.

there is no way that a YTM 200 beat a honda 300ex..........no way in hell...........i have ridden both and a ytm 200 is slower then shitt compared to a honda 300 ex................................................ .

my dad was on my brothers worn out 83 200x with paddles (29" there huge) and i was on my 350x regular tires we get to the bottom of this dune and we take off and my first mistake was the gear i was in (3rd) well i'm gettin up it then i start to loose my momentium so i started to sidehill while hes just got that 200 screaming (well kinda its way too wore out to scream) i end up loosing all my momentum with just about a foot to get my front tire to the top so i pull in my clutch shift down to first rev up the engine and dump the clutch and berry my self i had to back down it was truely embarssing

I Drag raced a 2000 Ford Ranger it was a 4 cylinder automatic for about 75 yards and beat him by about 10 yards. :-D oh yea i have a 250 SX

OK G-Man. I'm pretty sure it was a 300ex. Aren't they the utility quads? His was like late 80's early 90's.

no idea where but i'm gessing its around 1983 or 1984 cuz there are 200x's but older style r's no watercooled r's

Carislebad raceway, I am not sure of the spelling. The year looks to be around 82-83. Or it may be one of the El Cajon motocross tracks closed years ago. Just a guess. Thanks.

well i left a very easy clue!!!! SEATTLE KINGDOME THE year was 1982
can you say stadium supercross on a 3wheeler!!!

and thats me and my brother robert standing top left he is in red me in yellow,, my homebuilt trike is on the top right its a mr 175 honda powered trike but its yellow,,, this is a little closer,, this was taken at the three wheeler nationals in san jose also in 1982
