    exhaust

    what would be the best power exhaust to put on a 1985 yamaha tri-z?

    Youve got 3 choices which are stock, DG (which improves low end a little bit), or you can spend big bucks for a custom made pipe.

    as far as i found DG is the only exhaust still made for the Z so like Timsr said unless you want a custom exhaust DG is it. it is unfortunte but thats is it look at ebay for exhaust thats your best bet good luck mike

    Try LRD, I had a catalog of theirs a few years back and I think they still had one for the Z.

    Go with an LRD if you can find one. I got mine brand new for $225 shipped to me (It wasn't chromed though)

    I've got a full dg system on my tri z, I haven't ridden the Z much because i'm in the process of rebuilding it.
