350x wont rev up

ok first off the bike runs great....idals fine no misfireing sputtering bogging down or cutting off....there is no wierd engine noise at all.....all the gears feel fine and no drag....when its in neutral it will rev up....when i put it in gear its like the trottle cable is hung up and feels like it is only about 1/4 trottle....but it is opening all the way....i cannot figure this thing out....it is makeing good compression....if anyone has any idea the help will be greatly apreciated

that would be my guess... pull the carb off and clean it. maybe even get a kit for the carb.

I had the same thing happen to me on my 200x. My problem was the intake valve adjuster way to loose. Hope this helps.

i took the carb apart today and the little cylinde looking thing with the needle on it had come loose from the arm that lifts it....i have no clue how this happend....hopfully i can test it saturday...i had to leave for work and couldnt even put the tank and fenders back on lol
