Hey just wondering what anyone can tell me about the frame on my 70. I noticed a few days ago the talk about the front fender scrubbing the bolts on the head meaning a bad frame or bent forks. I have had this machine for a few years and the fender hit the bolts when I got it. I loosened the fender and put a little pressure on it and tightened it up. I got it to where it scrubs a little but not as bad. Well anyway I am wanting to sell this and I decided to look under the tank and check it to see if the frame was bent because the forks looked fine. What I found looks like someone has probably welded the steering knuckle off of another frame onto this one. Is that correct? They didn't do a bad job in my opinion as it has carried my 225 lbs around a bunch as well as my girls but it is a problem If I want to sell I am sure. Posted are some pics. If any of you can tell me what you think about it. I wonder if I would be better to sell it out in parts and get what I can , look for another frame or sell it whole for a parts toy? It runs fine has good tires and decent plastic. Smokes a little and could use a carb rebuild. Help me out with your opinions if you can. Thanks. If my pics aren't right I will have to try something else. I am a novice as far as getting the pics to the right size.

. After a year the frame snapped so I swapped it out for a good frame I got on eBay for $20 and pounded on it for another summer before selling it and when I sold it the frame was still fine. I kept my broken frame and plan on welding in some stronger tubing at some point.
