help with 200x clutch
I was told that an 80-84xr clutch is the same as the 85 200x so... I got one off ebay for cheap its an ebc kit and I diddn't do very much research first. Now that I am looking in a parts catalog the part numbers/kit numbers do not matchSo is there anyone that has done this before and knows if they are the same? I just don't get why the numbers would be different SO.........if any one can clarify this for me before I go to change it and its the wrong kit, Iwould greatly appreciate it!!!!

well i know i just put a new clutch in mine and on the back of the box it says it will fit a 86 xr 200

There was a strange xr 200 that was made for only a short time that had a 4 valve head. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole engine and bottom end are oddbal. I don't remember for sure the years this machine was made.
