    Unhappy Help? YTM 200ER recoil


    Ok boys each now have an 84's YTM 200E & 200ER, the ER pull cord assembly broke, so they are swapping between bikes, the plastic Dog things broke I guess, will anything else work on this trike? please help me they are driving me nuts? even further than I already am.

    just go down to your local yamaha dealer and buy the whole pullstarter, or buy the recoil setup.

    gee thanks, you guys MUST be Guys yes and all 3 are running thank you. Mine's always running, not a trikey though
    goin to the dealer I guess to buy a "recoil setup"

    I'm not too sure what part you are saying is wrong but the only plastic part I can think of in the pull starter is the pulley that the rope wraps around which are still available for about $50. You can also get a used pull starter, check ebay and put up a post in the classifieds here. A pull starter from other machines will work. As for a list of compatible ones there is…
