    ok, more dumb questions

I finally got my 84 R rideable, except for the rear brakes (Im waiting on these to come in). My first question What should the premix be? 20:1, 24:1, 50:1 ? what type or brand of packing is recommended in the silencer? And last but not least, what oil do ya recommend for premix? Thanks, Dave

Yeah. I run Lucas Semi-Synthetic Racing oil at 34:1 and I love it. Barely smokes and it performs great. Just test out different oils and ratios and see what you and your bike like.
