I'm starting to get back now

I'm starting to return how I was, I got hit by a car and badly messed up, 2 shattered legs, broken shoulder, cracked skull, and facial scarring. I was basically to the point of death. Now I am able to do alot more and are in a rehab/nursing home. I was in the hospital/rehab for 1 1/2 months. I can do alot more now and hopefully I will be back home in 2 weeks w/ crutches and all the metal and braces gone. I hope to return riding in 3 months, work in 5-6 and somewhere between those 2 I am going to buy myself a harly.
I really hope to be back riding my 250r and racing it around august, I don't know if that is gonna happen, but I'm gonna try. My parents come and visit me all the time and a few friends did too. I'll be checking my email and the forums I'm a member of every few days. Right now I am in a wheel chair and can stand on one leg and put pressure on one arm, that should change soon and I will be on crutches, once they say I am good on them, I'M GOING HOME. I'll talk to you guys later. you learn alot of lessons and self-dependance where I am/was, I honestly hope this does not happen to anybody else and it is live changing to a point.

Man... I was wondering about you. Sure am glad to here your healing. I've never been in a situation like that, but I know it's got to be tough. At least your screen name is now a legitimate title now!

Hope to see you this fall for some fun on the trikes. Take your time in rehab and heal up completely before you push it.

Sorry to hear of the misfortune, but happy to hear you're healing up.

If you don't mind me asking, what happened in the accident?

Wow! Glad to hear you are doing better and things are looking up. It's no fun going to shock trauma from that motorcycle either. I've been hit and run and it's no party. Still riding though. Make sure you are 100% before you ride the harley. They are heavy, and 1 slip, and you could mess up some fancy reconstruction. Best of luck. When you get the harley, let me know and we can go riding.

Hey Man....good luck with your recovery. I almost died in a car accident 11 years ago. I flipped a car at 100 MPH. I was Medivaced to Hackensack Medical Center. I broke my back in 3 places, fractured my skull, broke my clavula (spelling), my shoulder blade, etc. I was in a back brace for 6 months. I have video of it. Anyway, I was where your are now and wish you well. Someday we will meet and ride.

Aside for woods riding, I only ice race now, no more jumping for me because of my back, but you, like me will ride again.

    Good Luck! Speedy recovery!

About 4-5 weeks ago, somebody on atvriders was wondering where you were. You were missed! Anyway, it could have been worse--you could have been on your trike.
