Need advice...

Hey guys. I am pretty new to ATC's, and I have a bent rear axle on my 1984 Honda 200M. I need a new one, but cant find them on e-bay. So I was wondering, what other year/size/model will fit mine? I really need a new one, so ANY rear axles that will fit will be awesome. Thanks.

is it beyond trying to straighten it in a press?

Well, we have tried that a little, cant seem to straighten it. And I dont have that tool. Hos does it work?

You'd have to go to a machine shop, a press does what it's name does, presses stuff, like bearings into housings and stuff like that. If you were closer I'd have you ship it to me and I'd straighten it at my neighbors machine shop. Your best bet would to call a local machine shop and see what they'd charge, it really isn't that big of a job and has to be cheaper than a new axle.

Hey guys. I will probably do that, take it into a shop. If that doesnt work, i guess I just have to wait for an axle to show up on e-bay. I have some other questions about parts fitting and such, I will start a new thread though. Is that ok, or sohuld I continue here? Thanks a lot for the help guys.

yep broncos since i was 10 buddy elway was the man. bills stadium is about a hour away but they suck! LOL the only time i go there any more is when denver comes.

Lol. Yeah, it's fun playing the Bills. They'll get better...someday. But I cant wait for next season. Maybe I will be able to afford some tickets to a Bronco's game!
