    How to paint gas tank?

I was just wondering if you have any tips/suggestions for painting a gas tank? What kind of paint do you use? What do you do to prepare it?

    Thanks,
    Derek

Do a search there is a guy on here that painted a 250sx tank that looked sweet. He has a step by step walk through of what he did and the materials he used. Very nice quality job, looked stock.

I don't know who you are talking about as far as painting that tank, but I did my 250SX gas tank and there are pictures and a walkthrough kind of deal in the thread linked in my sig.

I did my gas tank too, you just sand the tank down and get all the dents out of it, if there are dents, then spray the tank with primer, then spray the base coat then spray the clear thats pretty much the gist of it. I used E4 red on my gas tank, and it looks really good
