    Question cam for 225

    does anyone here have one? aftermarket? and does it help alot?i see that web cam overs 3 different ones....is there anyone else that has them? and last one what is the lift of the stock grind...thx

    I have been wondering the same thing about my YTM200 (shair the same cam as the 225). Web cam shows that it is the same as some dirtbikes so I wonder if the dirtbike cam would be a little performance boost over our stock cams.

    so know has one huh? do you know if anyone has put a bigger carb on there 225 or 200? i guess ill call web cam and see if they know what the stock grind is for our trikes?

    I don't know what size carb. they use either. I was just thinking about how the Honda guys can swap in XR200 parts into their trike for a little performance boost so why not us Yamaha owners.

    okay here is the skinny....stock for 200 and 225 cam// intake lift is .317// duration @.050 is 204// and exhaust lift is .319// duration is @.050 is 207//so that it...just let you know also here is some more info... http://www.megacyclecams.com/catalog/page57.pdf

    oh forgot!!!!! the people at web cam said the tt225 cam use the same cam up to 2005! no difference from yours....
