    No Spark

    85 honda 200s

    no spark, plenty of fuel.

Tryed Jumping it off the plug wire to ground and get nothing

Resistance from coil ground to wire is 5000 ohms

resistance from coil ground to coil hot is low if at all, doesnt show up on the analog.

CDI gives readings alla round 7000 ohms, but cant find any specs

exciter reads in at 190-200 ohms area

Can get it to fire up if I drag it in 5th at like 30 mph.

But I get no spark what so ever when I Pull the recoil over.

Hey, i'm having problems with my 200s as well. I know i have no spark. I've gone through like 10 spark plugs in about 2 months. Your spark plug is most likely bad (atleast thats what it is for me; my spark plug gets destroyed.). It is the only problem on my strong-running 84 200s.
