Which is lean, in or out!?

To lean the mixture do I turn the air/fuel screw in or out?

Out lets more air in which = leaner.

Here Is a tip. It really depends on where the screw Is. If the air fuel screw Is in front of the slide It's a fuel screw & turning the screw In will take fuel away (Usually 4- stroke carbs 350X-200X). If the screw Is behind the slide, you are adjusting air & turning the screw In will take air away (2 stroke carbs).
