1983-1987 ATC200X real world value

Hi guys,

I am kinda new here but not new with riding off road, 16 years old my belt and i am only 22. I am trying to find a ATC200X and i belive i found one semi local to me.

does $600 for a good shape 1984 (looks like a 1985, maybe seller has the wrong year, happens all the time) sound good? he told me it does not smoke and all seals are good. he wanted $850 but i said i only had $600 and he said thats fine he'd take it. only problems he told me are a rear tire has a slow air leak but a plug or new tires should fix that and he said about the rear break needs bleed. prob didnt bleed it when changing fluid.

my fiance is not thrilled with her riding a 3wheeler because she wanted a dirtbike but i like 3wheelers and this seems like a good fair deal to me but not sure. figured this is the place to ask.

As long as it runs well that sounds alright. Oh the trike in the pic. is an '84 but the only real differences between the 84-85 were cosmetic stuff.

do the atc's have twist throttles or push throttles?

they came with thumb throttles but allot of people change them over to Twist....good luck with your purchase......

Almost all came with thumb throttles but you can easily install a twist throttle if that’s more your style.

ok cool thanks, i hate push throttles. have to see if its any good on friday. could be total crap like the mechanic speical cr125 i looked at saturday
