    SX vehicle load capacity

Chris pointed this out to me over the weekend.

On the left side of rear fender is a sticker on our 85's that say vehicle capacity LoRd (definitly a R) .

Everyone else have this error too?

Well when I crashed Chris's this weekend, I was praying that I didn't wreck anything and the Lord came thru!

    Thank you Lord !

All this time and Chris is the only one to notice this minor error? I'm pissed, I'm usually the one that sees the fine "details" like this!

    Good going Chris!

Nice...........hahaha I knew that was a reason it was my favorite trike! Oh just a note. I had 8 x40 lb bags of top soil on the back of the SX on the rack and had 2 bags on the front(to steer LOL). It did fine but was a lowrider for sure! LOL

Wait a minute, BOTH our trikes have it! We the only ones that do? Now that would be cool! Maybe we can narrow it down to when they found the error?

86 or 7's have it too? Maybe even other models?

The fact that the sticker is still there is a rarity in these parts.... I would have never known.

And i've have a rubbermaid container filled with about 200 ish lbs of gravel ( being conservative.. ) with me on the seat.. or rather sitting on the gas tank.. 175 lbs.. and i could ride 3rd gear in a straight line just fine.. poor thing.

I'm going to go check my SX sticker. And my SX has pulled more than its share since I've had it. I've pulled a trailer filled with dirt (a 4x3 or so trailer), gravel, sand, children (lol.. pulling them around because they seem to have fun sitting in a trailer getting pulled around by my 3 wheelers), and the biggest load was probably when I was at my grandpa's with my dad and we were putting an addition onto his camp. We hitched his trailer up to it and it was a heavy bugger. Its a home made trailer so it weighs about 70 pounds or more, and we had it filled with dirt, lumber, and we had an aircompressor on it. I would guess it was 300lbs of stuff in a 70 lb trailer and it was carrying a 270lb kid.. so that SX pulled approximately 640 lbs without any trouble at all. Of course I had to keep it in first most of the time.. but she did it! lol
Anyway.. I got onto a rant.. I'll go check.

Haha we did that one time with my dads 200ES BR. I'm not sure how much the weight was.. I just know that there was one person sitting in front, me driving, one person sitting behind me, and then 3 on the rear racks. I had a hell of a time steering and I was afraid the racks were going to break right off.. lol. We didn't trail ride though.. just rode back my road and onto the trail because that was where we were playing paintball.

And my SX warning label has that on it too. I probably never noticed it because the R looks so much like an A..:

And it looks as though Harlans decals AREN'T the high quality, accurate/perfect reproductions we thought they were..:
