    tecate bottom ends?

just wondering if anybody out there knows if the bottom end of the 84-85 model year tecate is interchangable with the 86-87 model year. i have been looking at a few different pics of each, and to me, by eye, they look almost identical. so is it possible to use an 86-87 bottom end in an 84-85 t-3, of course with the 84-85 cylinder and head. also, if there are any differences in the bottom ends what are they? i know the top end is different. anyone can help out here it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if they will bolt up or not. My guess is no, the 86/87 wont work with 84/85. 86/87 has powervalve stuff on the front right.
