    Angry Sand in gas tank

My neighbor got pissed at the kids for riding the 3 wheeler to much and decided to dump my tank full of sand. Whats the best way to flush the fuel system.

Good Awnser.............Or take the tank off and repetedly flush with gas, and then install a little inline fuel filtre, you will also have to take the carb off and give it a good cleaning compressed air.

    Absolutely agreed!!!!!!!!

Remove the tank----Fill it with kerosene, cap it, slush it around, and then gently rotate the tank so the filler is facing down, and dump it, .. It may take two or three tries . If you have a fuel pump, I would replace it. REbuild the carb and you will be fine......The hard part wil be "Telling" (NOT ASKING) this inconsiderate PR**K to pay for it.
Buy American! Unless your only option is a HARLEY.

A customer walked in to my shop and Impatiently stated "My car doesnt start, Whats the problem?"I responded with a smile-"Yep that sounds like your problem alright"----

You'll most likely never get every bit out, so install a good inline filter to catch those last hold outs.

If you have a good petcock valve no sand should be in the carb. You'll have to remove the petcock and take it apart to get it good and clean. You can flush the tank alot easier with it off also.
