Try chaniging the spark plug before you do anything else.
Go Broncos!![]()
BTW, 1984 Honda 200M
Is it getting power from the stator? thats the most common part to go bad in honda ignitions.
hi
how do i check to see if i am getting power from the stator,
i try the spark plug on my tractor lanwmotor and i gave me fire when i ground it to
the engine,
thanks
If you got fire with the other plug. Just pick up a new plug, problems solved.![]()
i mean i took the spark from the 3 wheeler and try it on the tractor and got fire
so the plug must be
good or i would not of got fire thier either right.
thanks

Check The points or pickup coil. You may be able to file the points
I agree prolly the points. I didnt realize it was that old, sorry.
200e doesn't have points. They have a CDI ignition.
How to check the stator? Do a search on the forums for exciter+coil. It has been covered lots of times.
