    Mud Video...Trike has NO power!!

I went riding yesterday with trackshare.com, we were out for 8 hours and covered 75km. My back hurts now.
I was the only trike, kept up with the quads just fine and even got through some mud better than a few of them.
I have the new 225 diff on thats geared 15% higher, its WAY to high now, it wont even spin the 25" bear claws in the mud.
Here is a video of the trike, it used to be able to spin those tires no problem. It still chugs itself through lots of stuff fairly easy, but its not good enough! They didnt get my water wheelies on video, though, that was cool!

I'm going to have to get 22" tires all around, I really dont want to lose the 25's, but they're too hard on the trike. Im thinking mudlites, 22x11-9's any other opinions? How much do mudlites weigh?

mudlites are heavy.they are 6 ply,you can get the maxxis sur traks which are the same tread design, just a 2 ply tire.which means they are alot lighter!

I looked the weight up for some tires
    25" Bear Claws (6 ply)- 28lbs
    22" Sur Traks (2 ply)- 19lbs
    22" Mud Lites (6 ply)- 15.8lbs
I think Mud lites are the ticket. going down to 22's will reduce the gear ratio 12%, each tire is 12.2 lbs lighter too. The only thing I lose is ground clearance...

Heres another video, this was right at the start of the day, later on, I was almost waist deep in water and knee deep in mud. It was awesome!

The ITP Mudlites are the lightest 6 ply tire on the market.

Mud Lites, hands down. Best tire for mud and coarse trails.

It never used to, until I had to put that diff on. With 22's, it will be back to normal. I'll post some vids up when I get the new tires.

I have the mudlites on my trike and really like them.
They work good on trails and real soft dirt too.

I want vid's with the 22"s. Pretty cool seeing a trike hang with the big 4x4's.

trikes always seem to just as well in mud as 4x4s for some reason, but hey I'm not complainin. Yeah seems them tires are a tit bit too big lol.
I wanna line up with someone in a mud hole and see how the Mudlites do compaired to the gators. Might be interesting
