is this an aftermarket R pipe?(pics inside)

This came on my R and since i am getting another aftermarket pipe i was wondering what type, if so, of aftermarket pipe this is? Richard(yeah i know your name) said it was and i have all faith in him. And everyone with an aftermarket airfooled pipe, please chime in and tell me what company yours is from. Thanks!

That looks somewhat similar to a bassani but not quite. I have a Nos JWR bassani pipe for the 81-82 and 83-84 250R's. Bassani does not have those mounting holes for a heat shield, just a smooth sectional pipe. The section of the header where it curves is also much smoother on the Bassani.

I think that pipe is for the 83-84 bikes. It doesn't have the bracket by where the pipe gets small to omunt the rear heat shield.Hopefully you can see what I'm talking about in this picture. The pic is of a full Kerker system without the guards on it yet.

Have to correct you. JWR stands for Jimmy White Replica who was the rider for Team Green back then.

Why would you want to get rid of that great sectional cone pipe? Its most likely better then any other pipe you will buy.

No kidding. Darryl Bassani manufactured Jimmy White Replica versions for the Atc 250R, Tri-Z, along with the Tecate. The one I sold to Whitman350X a couple of years ago is a JWR for 81-82 250R. I have one for tecate, tri-z, 81/82 250R, and 83-84 250R. Bassani was Jimmy Whites tuner, but that didn't stop him from producing parts for other trikes, especially since his pipes were great and he did own his own company that produced among other things, exhaust pipes!. The JWR versions for any of those trikes I mentioned come with the ultra smooth pipe (no heat shield mounts), stinger extender, and stainless steel silencer (not the old steel solid type), along with the paper work identifying the pipe as a JWR. Want to see a JWR for 250R? Post your email...

Why would i want to get rid of it? I have a chance at either getting a JWR and i am also getting a Bills pipe...talking to a few people i am trying to get a more top end oriented pipe for flat track..
