congradulations on your dads win. kinda off subject but i was talking with a coworker who tells me he got so fed up with being sniped, he started keeping track of sniper usernames and bid on everything they bid on.they still snipe but have to pay more. i don't use snipe programs but i got to where i don't bid on anything to the last minute cause your just helping to run it up. unless its something i can take it or leave it, i'll put in some early bids.
I got a roll a quarters an making change !

So are you trying to say that you "bid" on your "own" item in order to artificially raise the final sale price?. Or does "our" mercedes mean the one you just won?. I'm confused.

Problem with your coworkers thought process is that if someone is sniping something, more than likely they are NOT bidding on it too hehe. I use snipe alot and I bid on things too. So in that case it wouldnt work at all.
If I want something really bad, all I do is set my snipe and then sit back and watch the item in my "watch list". That way I am behind the scenes and no one knows of my going to bid. hehe

Sniping is the only way to go. Bidding early only raises the price. It's all part of the game. If you don't like it don't play!

Ahhhh Yes, but there is nothing quite as fulfilling as bidding high early on and watching someone snipe in vain, only to realize there isn't any time left to re-bid!!! I'd love to have a camera for that "OMG, I am sooo STUPID!!" look on their faces. But, I only know that look as I have done some sniping as well and not gone high enough!!!! Cheers!!!

Nice car. Seems like a lot of $$ to pay for a 1980 diesel benz tho. They hold up well. I've worked on a few of them that had upwards of 250K on them and still ran well as daily drivers. They are dogs, but they keep on chuggin! I only ever saw one of those motors quit, it was run low on oil and the cam siezed. My record on last-minute bidding without a sniper program is 7 seconds. Your dad did pretty good!!

We won the car at the last minute lol. And he bid so high on it because with the 4 speed he can get about 30mpg with it so the biodisel and waste veggie oil will last alot longer than his curent mercedes. Plus the automatic we have drives us up the wall

bidnapper.com. Where are you getting that biodiesel? I've read about it, but never heard of anyone that supplies it.
