    Any tips on painting exhaust?

Hey guys, just wondering if you have any tips on painting the exhaust pipe. I got some high heat spray paint, just wondering if you have any tips. Thanks.

Get it Real clean, Sandblast it if you can, and Do many Light coats of paint with dry time between coats....works best.

I use flat black grill paint. It works really well. Also I use a wire wheel and a drill to clean it before painting.

K, thanks. I got some VHT Flame Proof Flat Black paint. On the can it says: Very Important! After painting, bake object at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes, then cool for 30 min. Bake at 450 for 20...so on. Well, I cant do that my exhaust prob. won't fit in our oven, and it's a food oven, so the fumes arent great for it. So can I skip that junk? It seems weird that i would have to do that. Thanks for the help.
