would it hurt if i ran my supertraopp on my 350x without the endcap and disks?

You more than likely wouldn't notice any difference between running all the disks, and running no disks. You could run it that way, but there would be no difference.

i would like it to be louder but i am not sure if it will burn up the rings or what? any info would be nice!! thanx
No.. it doesn't make it much louder at all. I tried running it without the disks on the SX, and there is hardly any difference. With 12 discs on it, it is pretty much already free-flow.

Are you serious?Originally Posted by nouseforaname90
That'd be like gutting a 350X exhaust and not rejetting. You would burn something up.
I'd at least run two or three discs and keep an eye on your plug colour. No sense to burning something up for the sake of a loud pipe.

when i had mine off it was alout louder. after riding it little bit my spark plug blew out. i dont know if this had anything to do with it but i put them back on.
It made my friends quad a lot louder(250 beartracker) and you would need some rejetting.
86 200x- finally all back together
if i rejetted could i do this? what kind of jetting do i need?

it makes it alot louder, trust me i just did it to myt 200x like a week ago and made a huge difference on loudness, i also noticed alittle bit of a top end increase on power, i read that it doesnt burn up your rings, well if you think about it, look at like a HMF pipe, they got a big hole in there endcap and if you look into it its a strait shot through, so wouldnt it be like runing no disks? and like 4 of my friends have them on theres 400's and 450's and they havent burnt anything up
I am running 18 disks in mine and I could not really see anyone wanting it to be any louder. How loud is loud enough? Supertrapp makes an end cap with a hole in it, but this is only for highly modified engines that pretty much run only top end. Why don't you take the silencer off all together and really get some BIG power!!

so does anyone know if it burns up your rings or no, because if it does im gonna put them back on before next time i go riding
It won't "burn up" your rings but if you don't have it jetted properly it could lean sieze.
