Newbie that will be begging for help!

Hi guys. I am building an old ATC 200 that has been in my garage for a couple of years. I haven't had time to mess with it but my wife started riding road bikes last year and now she has the bug and says it's crazy to have a three wheeler and not use it. I bought it off the side of the road for $100 bucks with a frozen motor.
Bought a motor on Ebay and did nothing with it after that. We moved to the country last year and now have room to ride and my 11 year old daughter is even getting the bug so we are making this a family project. It is pretty rough so I will need all the help I can get! Thanks for a great forum to help us along the way.

Hi! welcome to 3 Wheeler World. You should find lots of friendly people here for advice and lots of old pages of info. to seach through if needed. There is nothing quite like the feeling of bringing something back after it has been left for dead.

Looks like you have a fun project on your hands. It even comes with a front rack, lol it's just on the wrong eng of the trike .

OK now I see how you are! Pick on the new guy! Actually I have all the racks, some of them are kinda' tweeked but repairable. The plastics are rough but complete. The seat in the picture is one I bought when I first got the bike but it isn't the right one. The original seat is REAL bad. Hopefully I can do some horse trading with my extra parts to get the correct stuff. I have a pull starter that is the wrong one also. Went to put it on a couple of hours ago and the internals are too small. Now all I need to do is figure out what the seat and the starter fit. I guess I will post them in the classifieds and see what I can come up with.

I have a feeling ebay will be your new best friend Just wait till you get the trike running, then you will be a trikeaholic, and you will be buying ATV/ATC's like there chocolate bars. O by the way, nice signature, got a laugh about that

Your right about the Ebay thing. I have redone a few early '70s Honda bikes over the last few years and had fun doing it. I think Mama wants me to get rollin' on the trike 'cause she knows I enjoy doing it. I hurt my back pretty bad last fall and have been doing nothing for the last few months. I can't spend as much time crawling around the garage floor as I used to but I still like fiddling with the "toys".
As far as my signiture goes Grandpa rode an Indian, Dad has a Goldwing on his tombstone, I have been riding since I could walk and my son the same. My son just bought two CT70s that he is building in memory of my Dad. Bikes are definetly in the blood.
