For ruts from quads, make sure your front tire and one of the rear tires dont get in the same rut or you'll have a real hard time. I sometimes put my front tire in one of the ruts and go like that, or put your rear tires in the ruts and front tire in the middle.

powersliding is the key as stated before. A trike is all body english. People tell me, "them threewheelers are dangerous" I tell them they are if you try to ride them like a lawn tractor.

You absolutly have to learn how to hang your butt off the side when slideing through a turn.

Its really funny at MX tracks. I went to Rausch Creek and all the guys on quads where like "how do you ride that thing (85 atc250r) with out rolling it?"
Its all about knowing where to put your body weight, you've got to hang your body off the side to force the trailing rear wheel down. You almost need to have a gorila like handle on the bike. If your upper body isn't tired at the end of the day A. you're not riding your trike correctly B. not riding it hard enough. or C. You're freakin ripped and do it everyday for hours. lol
And that's the rest of the story. ~ Paul Harvey

"Yes its broken, but does that really surprise you?."
"What happened? What does it look like happened?!?!"

NEVER take your feet off the pegs for any reason. This is a totally different animal.

Theres only one way to turn a 3 wheeler if youre going at any speed at all, and thats called "power sliding". Push toward the direction you want to slide with your feet and legs, lean your body low and to the opposite side. Pull the handlebars to point the front wheel toward the slide and hit the gas or dump the clutch. Do it all at once.

The engine power breaks the rear wheels loose, and force from your feet pushes the ass end around.

Power sliding is not easy to lean, because theres no "working up to it" it just has to happen - kinda like your first set of doubles.
    Kinda like this huh?

Best advice i can give is practice, practice, practice.
