Deer Xing signs

Any one see the Deer Xing signs that have a hoop around the deer's waist, like it's jumping thru a hula hoop?
Whadda's that mean??? A buddy said "maybe it means deer are around"-Ha! the hoop has jiggle marks on the top & bottom. Oh, I've only seen these Baltimore County, Md....................

Ahh... A buddy of mine said "That means deer are around", that's the only response besides yours that I've gotten. Have any of you seen the sign I'm talikng about?
