    200 big red shocks fit a 200m and a 200s?

Would the shock tubes of a 200 big red fit a 200m and a 200s?

Nope. The 200 Big Reds are uniqe. The actual fork tubes are part of the triple tree.

The 200m & 200s fork stubes slide into and clamp in the triple trees.

Howdy you must be thinking of something else because the fork tubes I have off a 200 big red just slide right into the triple.

crd00 - you must not have an OEM Big Red front end on that bike. Got a picture we could see? I need to rebuild mine and it is just as Howdy describes.

They may have came straight off the bike, but they are not the right ones!
those look like 1985 big red or maybe ATC200 or 200S - 100% positive you don't have 1984 200ES forks.

Look at this (84 fork drawing) how differnet the bottom section is:

OOOOOOOOOO I didnt know that the 84 shocks were different then the 85's. These are 85's then, so will they fit a 200m or a 200s, because they slide right out of the triple

The 85-87 Honda 250es Big Red shocks do NOT inner change with any other machine to my knowledge. The 200m-200s shocks are smaller in diameter.
