What tools do I need to adjust the valves on my 200x?

Feeler gauges, an 8mm wrench (I think that's the size), screwdriver, flashlight. That's it. Feeler gauges you can get at Pep Boys or any place like that and the other stuff I assume you have. Oh yeh you need a large wrench to get the caps off the cylinder head cover to access the adjuster things and the flashlight is so you can see the timing marks on the flywheel when setting the flywheel to the "T" mark in the little opening.

how ofton should you adjust your valves, like whats a good rule of thumb or about how many hours of riding
In the Honda service manual it says roughly every 30 operating days. That seems like overkill to me but that's what it says. I've only done mine once in the past year so maybe I should check mine out again...

I only adjust mine if they start getting noisy. Its real easy to do.
Do it when the trike gets hard to start when it's cold outside.
