yea i have never seen a 1000cc single
Engine is a Yamaha Sr-250 engine. Those go very well for a single cylinder.
Here are some pics of my SR250, so ya can verify..
Your carb isn't the standard carb though...

Yeah, they pull hard for a 250 single cylinder. In one of my manuals it sais that they are around 23 hp stock and thats with the restictor still fitted...
