    Tuarus Trike Pics

I finally got around to taking a few digital photos of my 84 Taurus trike.

I picked up the machine around 6 years ago from a farmer who had it just sitting in his yard. New fluids, plugs and a battery and the ole 650 cc motor roared to life!!!!!
It is mainly used for cruising cutlines up here in Alberta.
If I can get my scanner going I will post some pics of the machine with around 500lbs of moose meat loaded on it!!!!!!!!

I had a local offer me 2 grand for the machine....any one know what the value on this machine might be???? I have never seen or heard of another one like it.

    Thanks

No winch, but I keep a two ton come along in the back box which works pretty slick.

Whats cool as far as parts go is that the company that made it, Ontario Drive and Gear also is the maker of ARGO's.

When I need new seals for the brake caliper I was amazed to find out that the multi wheel ARGO's used the same caliper for their skid steering and thus brake parts were easy to come by.

Engine parts don't seem to hard to come by either as the engine is a Briggs twin cylinder I/C.

As for the moosemeat---I dropped a moose 5K back in the bush a couple of seasons ago and got it out in just two trips.

I likely have the most info of anyone on the Taurus. I have a friend who personally built them and still works at ODG. I own owners manuals, brochures, have hats, and almost anything you can think of. Check out my web site and there is a bit on the Taurus there but I have piles more not posted on the web. The head engineer on the Taurus project has a cottage 3 miles from me and we have talked the odd time about it. Poor timing on ODG's part lead to a early death to the project.
