Hey guys, new to the forum and got a question about exhaust

I just picked up a Honda 110 for $300. Brand new tires and runs like a charm. There is one problem though. It's not loud enough. I want to cut off the muffler and put a big tip in place of it. How much power do you think I'll lose if I do this?

why dont ya just buy a new exhaust, if ya dont want to spend alot of money buy a cobra or something, a strait pipe will problally mess up your valves or burn up your rings

Whatever you do, dont cut that muffler off. The stock exhausts for the 110/125 are very hard to come by and you could sell it on ebay for a decent amount. Like said, you can find complete cobra systems on ebay for around 60$ or so.

Why would you want it louder? Noise doesn't mean power or speed. In fact making it louder may only make neighbors mad at you, and cause problems.
