What should I do with this Big Red??

I've been here before with you guys on this trike and I'm near my nerves end now. I don't want to give up on her but she's outside my skill level and don't know if I can afford the $$ to have it fixed in a shop at $40 an hour. '83 200e with a left engine oil leak that I don't think that I can fix on my own, without some serious help. Appears to be coming from left engine case near a bolt that is sheared off (I've posted pics earlier). I really don't want to part with it since it runs good and the plastics have no cracks or anything. Plus I've stripped the racks and headlight cover and finished them in black truck bed liner, so cosmetically and mechanically it is great besides the leak I don't know how to fix. Should I part it out??? Any tips on how much I could ask? Now I'm willing to get it out of my garage and look for a new trike. I don't want to be a quitter but I'm afraid I'll get in over my head if I start taking the engine apart. I certainly would if I had another trike to ride since I don't really have much invested in this one.

you want an easy fix? Tip the trike on its side and find where its leaking from. Clean that area and JB weld it. Cant get any easier if ya want to keep it.

Should I drain the gas, take the tank off, and all before I do that. Then just put a layer of JB Weld and weld the heck out of wherever the oil is coming from?? I started taking the cases apart and got the suntranny, and recoil off (finally put lo gear in ) then realized I might be in over my head to get the left engine case off and stopped. So just put the cold weld over the bottom of the case?? Is that what you're saying? I really appreciate any help!! just want to get her running in the yard and hunting again. Not planning on keeping her forever.

You might just be suprized and find it's a easy fix. I would start with carefully drilling the old bolt out ( Use a left hand drill bit that is just smaller then the bolt ). If the bolt comes out easy then install a new one. If it don't then you may have to use a tap and then install a new bolt. Once a new bolt is installed it may take care of the leak and your done.
