Anyone have any seat time on one? How do they ride? Amount of travel? That picture is great but I can't enlarge it to see details of bike.

I appreciate the pic. But, photo editor just distortes it when enlarged.

Being from Orange county I take it you go to the desert. MyMint87 a guy that posts here has one he takes out the Gordons Well. I havne't had a chance to meet up with him yet, but I hear that Nick is king of the drags. I haven't seen any post from him in a while hopefully he will stop by.

You guys need to go to .org and read up on mymint. Alledgedly the turbo fell off the "Nick" while on the interstate and bounced off some cars. People got mad, shotguns were grabbed and mymint was jailed. And the capper, the "Nick" was a stolen bike, but 10 years had past so don't know if anything is going to happen with that. You need to read it yourself...

That was just a fabricated story because he has not been online in a while.

Here is the Nick with me sitting on it a few years ago. Mymint87's trike. All I have to say is once that turbo kicks on, its stupid. It handles horrible if you are wanting to hit the local trails. I guess thats why its built as a flat tracker. It turns on a dime, just the supension isnt top notch.

Ok, if your going to pick up a Nicholson 500, which i think i know which one you are probably talking about...i wouldn't get it. To be truthfull, they're not all that fast. As one person from Glamis said, a stock 350x almost beat it. Plus mymint's is the one with a turbo, and the other one i think your looking at doesn't have one. It is a great piece of history, but nothing as it has been told up to be...sorry
    Rest in peace Rex Carlson

you guys are missing the point,,,,,,,,,, the nick 500 was not built as a drag race bike,,, neither was the tiger 500,,,, both machines were built to compete on a flat track back in the early 80's,,,, if you took your drag race machines out to the local flat track ,, you would surley get your ass handed to you on a regular basis,,, apples and oranges here!!!! the nick is a piece of history,,

Can someone please give us a bit more info on the "nik" story. Never heard of one before this thread.

Was it a local manufacturer? was it just a modified honda? Looks like a 200s with a suspension kit and a big honda single in it to me. Oh, and I forgot the dodgy headlight shroud

i think they are just modified hondas, not sure on that could be wrong, more then likely i am. if you guys do have any info on these please share. i can tell you i have been into trikes since the early 80's and i have heard very little on these bikes. i love the look of it, and that second pic in the post, that atc 70 is badass looking little bike. damn i wish i lived on the west coast, i'd love to ride glamis.
