That thing is so nice!!! I wonder why they are so rare, they made them for like 3 or 4 years right??? Those puppies must haul some serious A**!!!! $6K?!?!?! Damn that's a lot of money for a machine from 1989!!! Bet it's worth it though!!!
Anybody have about $6,500 they want to donate to a good cause????

I have a feeling that $6500 is nowhere near the final price on that thing. I bet closer to 10 g's.

Hmm, After looking at the background in those pics and the other items up for auction I wonder if these are rangerovers stuff? How bout it adam,, is that yours?

I was just wondering since i know little about these things.. Is that a 2 stroke 400cc? Also what years were they made and why the heck did they stop making them?

Yes 400cc pinger!!! I believe they only made them 2 years, 89 and 90......
My guess is either that they were to expensive for people and/or they hauled so much A** that people got hurt on them....
    Ask Aussieduner he has one

Before you posted that, Chris, I thought it was rangerover. I wasn't going to say anything, but you mentioned it, so I am going to agree.. I believe it is rangerover. He always takes his pictures right infront of that white garage door, too..

Honda only made them for 2 years, I worked at dealership and we only sold one each year to the same guy. They were a lot of fun to ride(drive) but were to expensive to buy and you need a lot of room to run them around.

400cc watercooled is correct,so much fun to drive, they just didnt sell well in '89/90 but they are stilling holding there value after all these years and lots of parts still available from Honda.I have imported 4 of these to Australia so far,1 for me and 3 for other friends.
Thats a good deal as the new plastics all over is worth quite a few $ especially the foot tub plus i noticed it has new decals fitted.

    PS
Heres my old FL 350 and my current Pilot, the Pilot now has and EGT to monitor the temp and rev's,i have few more upgrades planned for next summer and enough NOS parts for a full resoration in years to come.

Very nice pilot indeed that somebody stole from me along with my one week old 12 ft enclosed trailer. The trailer had a hitch lock and had East Ciast ATV LLC on every side of it. Some people really have some nerve!!

Nothing you can do but drive around all day looking. I live in a very very up and up area too which makes no sense as to why it was stolen. Even the police here say I will not find it again.

I renamed my stolen Honda pilot today as well. I call it a Honda ARS PILOT becasue there is a spineless ARS out there driving it around

Range, One thing you can do is keep an eye out on ebay for the parts from this machine. Sometimes thiefs steal stuff then part it out. Just a thought
