    Dune story

    I was going through some tapes this weekend and it reminded me of a story. One of our firends took the journey to Silver Lake Sand Dunes with us a couple years ago. He was riding a stock 250R that one of my friends loaned him (only a pipe on it). He had a tough time getting going.



    Well we ran into a DS650 that had something to prove. He was sure that a group of threewheelers couldn't take him in a drag race. He was on the all-mighty 650.



    Well, of course he picks on Johnny. Like the lion and the weakest zebra of the herd. He zeros in...



    He thought he was cool, but even though we were only riding 250cc bikes, we had something better to say. JohnR stepped up to see what the DS was all about. John had an extended swingarm, so he let the DS start off before he let it rip.



    They drag raced and JohnR won. WHAT? He beat me, the DS650 rider thought??? So they raced back to us again and JohnR gave him another humiliating defeat.



    Once again, another fool falls prey to the wrath of the 250R threewheeler.

    That came out awesome, Chris. I guess your really getting the hang of that video card, huh? I am bummed we aren't going this year but in 2004 we are coming to win!! Can anyone say "ESR Pro-X ATC330r drag trike? :shock: HAHAHAHA!!! Maybe a little nitrous now that I've got a good ignition on it.

    Nice. I love the dunes up there. I have 2 trips scheduled already for this summer. Maybe this year the X will have enough balls to take down a few unsuspecting prey.

    JohnR, did you mention adding nitrous? If so, you are not allowed to speak of such a term without posting some pictures of the trike...it's just the right thing to do.
