84-85 Tecate parts work for 86-87 tecate?

What parts are interchangable between the two. I am sure little if any. But is the coil or cdi? or any other parts?

    Thanks

Coil and CDI between the two swap. The complete rear axle carrier, axle swap to give a wider stance. The motor does not swap. The front ends swap.

I disagree on the rear axle carrier. I had parts from a 85 Tecate here that didn´t work on my 86. First look the looked the same but were smaller.
Not 100% sure anymore but I think the 85 axle had a smaller diameter than the 86 as well.
The ignition parts should swap though.

There might be some other minor parts that sawp, but not many, just like you said.
The 84/85 and the 85/86 are completely different bikes, just my .02

All the rear end parts need to be swapped. Not just an axle alone as it won't fit. Everything fromt he carrier to the hubs need to go when doing that swap.

Different mounts and the topend/bottom end of the 86 is set up for the powervalve as opposed to the non powervalve 84/85.
