    G/F had her first spill

Well as the title says, my g/f had her first 4 wheeler accident at the North Canadian this last weekend. Shes doesn't have much riding time in but she loves it and is learning quick. She wanted to learn how to climb hills so we went and did some practicing. She got the hang of some of the less steeper ones and wanted to take my cousin out for a ride. There was this 1 hill, not steep at all and they had probably went up it 10 or 15 times getting almost a foot of air. Well I decide to go and get a pic of it and as luck would have it thats the time she wrecked. I guess she got distracted and swerved to the right at the top of hill and it lifted one side more than the other. They both bailed off thinking the 4 wheeler was about to land on them. I missed the whole thing because i was looking at the screen on the camera. I snapped a picture as they were coming up the hill, waited for the pic to show up on the screen and out of the corner of my eye I see the raptor rollin by with nobody on it I had to chase it down and kill it because it wasn't slowing down. Somehow the back tire ran over her arm and left treadmarks and a nasty bruise but that was it. They got right back on and did the hill again. The funniest part about the deal, earlier that day I was showing off by doing some wheelies on her raptor and scraped the grabbed bar, she was giving me hell about it and she goes and almost flips it herself. Anyway sorry for the long post just had to share my story, heres the pic along with a couple of others from the river. I know I don't have on a helmet, don't flame me, I always wear it but I made my cousin wear it that day, we are buying her one for her bday so we all have 1 when we ride.

Lomax- That is right off of n.e. 23rd street about 2 miles east of I35 in okc. Theres miles of riding area there, if anyone is interested I can give more specific directions, the whole place is completely open and unregulated and free. As long as you aren't causing too much trouble the police never even go out there.

My Trike Sucks- I've got the clutch adjusted pretty good, its got more than enough play to put a nickel in that clutch lever before you get resistance. Thats how I always ran my ninja. That raptor is just so torquey on the bottom you can cruise around in the first 3 gears without touching the gas (can't say that about the 450). It wasn't like accelerating or anything it was just coasting along in 2nd gear.
